Audio also gets really bad at some points, very static-y. Pc specs are: 24 GB RAM, i7-4820 CPU, AMD R9 290 GPU.

Had the same issue at the beginning, but then activated the Graphics Option "Enable Texture Recompression" to limit the VRAM usage and the game is now running at 2k in 60fps.
