UPDATE: I ordered a Kakwa 40 but returned it after trying it out with my gear. It was just too tight with the bear canister and without the expandable mesh pocket. Other than that it seemed great, though. And the new Kakwa 55 just came out with a bigger mesh pocket, so I ordered one of those! The Kakwa (I am looking at the Kakwa 55) seems to have thin shoulder straps. Will they dig into my skin or are they comfortable for long hikes with say 30 lbs of weight? BTW how is the lack of ventilation on the Kakwa? Do you get really sweaty or is it manageable?
